International
Hong Kong Teleconference
The Division of Neonatal & Developmental Medicine, in collaboration
with the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Hong Kong and
several other medical centers in China, hold a videoconference approximately
five times each year to discuss challenging neonatal-perinatal patient
cases, generally presented by colleagues in Hong Kong.
Through this international meeting, physicians from both Stanford and China are able to exchange medical expertise and experiences that directly affect patient care. Past topics have included perinatal/neonatal stroke, persistent enterobacter sepsis, neonatal liver failure, and congenital pneumonia.
