The Cooperative Multicenter Network of Neonatal Intensive Care Units

The network, funded since 1991 by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) is a consortium of academic tertiary health care centers established to facilitate the investigation of safety and efficacy of treatment strategies for neonates in intensive care units.

The California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC)

CPQCC is an outgrowth of a 1997 initiative proposed by the California Association of Neonatologists (CAN). It is supported by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the State of California Department of Health Services, Maternal and Child Health Branch. The Collaborative’s initial focus has been on the development of perinatal and neonatal outcomes and information, which allows for data-driven performance improvement and benchmarking throughout California.

The California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC)

CMQCC was initiated by the California Department of Public Health, Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Program in 2006. CMQCC is a multi-stakeholder quality improvement collaborative providing an evidenced-based, data-driven model for building partnerships among clinical and public health leaders. The collaborative works to diffuse research into action in all California hospitals that provide maternity care and transform them into a model of change.
