2025 Stanford BPD Research Symposium

Join us for the 2025 Stanford BPD Research Symposium, where international experts in neonatology, pediatric pulmonology, pediatric cardiology, and other related specialties will share the most recent discoveries about bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). This symposium will provide an exciting environment for the exchange of ideas and scientific networking. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of BPD research and clinical care.

This one-day symposium will be in-person only at the Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge (LKSC).

STAP-eligible Stanford employees can use STAP funds towards the registration fees for this activity. Complete the STAP Reimbursement Request Form and submit to your department administrator. 

Abstract Submission

Abstract Deadline: August 4 at 11:59 p.m. PDT

  • Abstract submission is not required to attend the event.
  • We will accept all abstracts for poster presentation. 
  • We will notify participants whether their abstract has been selected for an oral presentation by the end of August.

Poster presentation guidelines

  • Poster Dimensions: The maximum size is 44 x 44 inches.
  • Set-Up: We will provide pins and a corkboard for poster display. Please bring your poster with you on the day of the symposium.
  • Participation: We request that you stand near your poster during the lunch poster session. Please plan to leave your poster up for the entire day, as guests will be able to walk around and ask questions. Be prepared to discuss and explain your work.
  • Post-Event Clean-Up: Please remove your poster at the end of the symposium. Any unclaimed posters will be disposed of.

Parking

Visitor parking is available near the LKSC. The closest parking lots to LKSC are the LKSC lot (Zone 7215), the Stock Farm lot (Zone 7217) and the Via Ortega Garage (Zone 7202). We recommend parking at the Stock Farm lot, as that has the most parking spaces. Please allow 15-30 minutes to find parking and walk to the building. 

To park on-campus, you will need to purchase a parking permit through ParkMobile on the day of the event.
